South Coast Basketball In Laborie

THE thrill and excitement in the South Coast Basketball League continues this evening with a double header in Laborie.

In Game No.1 from 6:30 p.m. Run ‘N Gun All-stars plays Vipers and at 8:30 p.m. Darren Sammy 88 BBC will meet tournament leaders MicoudHustlerz.

The series continues tomorrow night also in Laborie from 7:00 p.m. when Black Bay Basketball goes up against St. Lucia Fire Service.

Meanwhile, awesome shooting by officers VachelCherubin and Jerry Charles, with 7 treys combined, was enough to help Fire Service survive against defending champs Darren Sammy 88 BBC in Micoud on Tuesday evening. Big man, Marcian Calderon scored 23 points, helping to close out the fourth quarter with 10 of the 19 points scored in the period.

Top Performances for SLFS were Marcian Calderon with 23 points, VachelCherubin 14 points with 4 3 pointers and Jerry Charles 13 points with three 3 pointers.

For Darren Sammy 88 BBC – Keegan Preville scored 22 points, ShamoirJn Baptiste 12 and Kurt Raphael 10.

At present three teams are locked on 10 points each MicoudHustlerz, St. Lucia Fire Service and the Royal St.Lucia Police Force, while Black Bay Basketball on 8 points and Run ‘N Gun on 6 points round off the top five spots in the league.
