The Ministry of Infrastructure, Port Services and Transport, in consultation with traffic authorities are compelled, with immediate effect, to allow only north-bound traffic to traverse the section of road near the JQ Rodney Bay Mall.
All south-bound traffic with the exception of mini busses and emergency vehicles, are advised to use alternative roads such as Beausejour and Bonne Terre etc.
āThe Ministry of Infrastructure appeals for the patience and cooperation of all motorists and pedestrians as they seek to deal with this situation. The MIPST wishes to reasure the motoring public that all is being done to resolve this problem within the shortest possible time frameā, an official statement said yesterday.
