Youth Urged to ‘Stand Firm’

TODAY’s youth face many challenges. There is a desire to reach the destination of success but few legitimate roads to get there. Many feel that they are sitting on the block of frustration, unemployment, un-fulfilment and despair, and at every stop there are offers of compromise, and easy money.

Recognizing these challenges, and in observance of Caribbean Youth Day 2015, Prayz FM, has embarked upon a youth evangelistic series under the theme, STAND UP, STAND OUT, STAND FIRM-BY HIS SPIRIT. The presenter for the series is Danny Moonie, a young Saint Lucian national, who is zealous to pronounce God’s news especially among the youth.

These On-Air presentations will run nightly from September 28 – October 9, from 6:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. The youth are encouraged to tune in to PrayzFM 95.5 and 92.5 or log on to www.prayzfm.org.

Some of the objectives of the presentations are as follows:
To empower young people to fulfil the plans of God in their lives; encourage them to be involved in the Mission of Christ through His church; attract young people to the ministry of the station and positive media; inspire young people to be resilient in the face of life’s challenges; challenge them to live sober, godly lives, inspite of the drunkenness of the age.

The On-Air series will end with a grand convocation on October 10, at the Dennery SDA Church from 9:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m. where young people will be challenged and charged for consecration and service.
