Second Leg Play offs Weather Permitting.
WEATHER permitting tomorrow Blackheart Productions and the St.Lucia Football Association will stage the second leg of the play off matches and some promotional warm up games for this year’s tournament at the Micoud Playing Field.
A quadruple header is scheduled as the second leg of the two play offs and two promotional warm up matches will be held.
From 2:00 p.m. in a promotional warm up encounter three time former Blackheart Champions Mabouya Valley will come up against South Castries.
From 4:00 p.m. Desruisseaux comes up against Mon Repos in the second leg of their play off tie and from 6:00 p.m. Anse la Raye meets Choiseul.
In the first leg of the play off matches at the same venue Desruisseaux and Mon Repos played to a one all draw, while Anse la Raye had a come from behind 2-1 win over Choiseul.
The final match of the day is scheduled to be another promotional warm up encounter featuring three time former Blackheart Champions Dennery playing against semi finalist of last year’s tournament Vieux Fort South from 8:00 p.m.
The matches are scheduled to go ahead as planned however Blackheart Productions and the SLFA will be keeping a close eye on the weather as the approaching tropical weather system Hurricane Danny is expected to affect the Lesser Antilles.
A spokesman for the two parties Blackheart Productions and the SLFA says a final decision as to whether the matches will go ahead Sunday will be made this afternoon or early Sunday morning depending on the severity of the weather and whether the Micoud Playing Field surface will be conducive to stage the matches.
