THE police efforts at crime fighting received a major boost yesterday when Dr. Maurice Aboud of Caribbean Forensic Services Limited out of Trinidad & Tobago presented to Milton Desir, the Assistant Commissioner of Police in charge of crime, a Trace Evidence Kit.
The kit, will assist investigators in tracing anything foreign that stays on a crime scene like hair and clothing fibres.
Desir was pleased with the gift saying that it could not have come at a better time.
