SOUTHERN based music entity, Cedar ProductionZ, has announced “Like Tsunami,” as its latest music video release, from reggae pop dancehall recording artist/ entertainer, Aschadan.
The video, “Like Tsunami,” which was filmed along the southern coastal settings of Vieux Fort, depicts breath taking visuals from some of the island’s natural beauty points. Some views and images captured on film, for the first time.
Directed by Photographer , Leo Evans and Aschadan’s “Like Tsunami,” is a fusion of love and affection between two individuals, on an adventurous walk across rugged terrain and rough seas. The video opens, with scintillating views of blue seas and clear skies, and concludes with epic romantic silhouette back drops.
According to Aschadan, “Like Tsunami” is a deliberate innovation to fuse romance into dancehall, thus it’s a clear indicator of how dancehall music can be separated from the everyday norm of party and clubbing.
“I wanted something different, something which would appeal to everyone, something which would grab the attention of persons not into dancehall, whilst portraying Saint Lucia’s beauty”.
The video is set to be aired on local television stations as early as next week and regional stations next month. It will be accompanied by a 17-track audio album, produced and engineered by Cedar ProductionZ, also entitled “Like Tsunami”.
“Like Tsunami” is the artist’s third official music video, with previous releases of “Whine Gal” and “Legacies”. which was a regular on Saint Lucian Television stations, and made Caribbean Station Tempo’s top ten charts.
